About us

Following the great success of the NKPP in the Netherlands, the organisation is expanding to other European countries, under the banner of European Solar Games. Apart from providing exciting competitions in which the best solar installers compete against each other, the championships are primarily intended to raise awareness of safe and high-quality installation. Teams are judged on the correct positioning and mounting of roof hooks, rails, cables, solar panels and optimisers. But fixing according to regulations, connecting connectors and working safely (fall protection) and neatly are also included in the assessment of an expert jury. The winning team will get to call itself Champion European Solar Games for a year and receive media attention.

The event has been organised since 2019 by Esdec (supplier of innovative PV roof mounting systems), Rexel (electrical wholesaler) and exhibition organiser Good!
